Heritage Certificate of Recognition
Since 2009, the Grey County Historical Society has awarded the Heritage Certificate of Recognition to individuals and
organizations.
The Grey County Historical Society (GCHS) Heritage Certificate of Recognition honours and
recognizes a work or works of heritage by an individual, organization, institution or business that has
made a significant contribution to the promotion or preservation of the history of Grey County.

Judging Criteria
Areas Assessed during Evaluation of Nominations
Archival Collection (photos of items, organization, display, etc. should be included)
Built Heritage (photos of different stages of work and historical photos should be included if possible)
Drama (Script – if possible, also include a copy on (DVD or CD of Production)
Research Oriented Book that promotes/preserves Grey County History OR Historical Fiction (Include Copy of the Book)
Photographic Work/displays/painting (include photographs)
Research Papers or Substantial Article (Include a copy of the Research Paper)
Individual for Long-Time Service in the Heritage Field
